A reminder that next week the VSO is bringing the world of gaming to the Orpheum with an exciting presentation of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony on Monday, December 6th at 8pm. This concert features the Vancouver Bach Choir and one of game music's most distinguished figures, conductor Andy Brick. This unique and very special presentation pairs the extraordinary orchestral music written for video games with a live orchestra and choir – all backed by clips of the games themselves.

As a special treat for fans, composer Jeremy Soule (The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Guild Wars, Prey and Company of Heroes) will be in attendance along with Oleksa Lozowchuk (Dead Rising 2), Michael Curran and Geoff Knorr (Civilization 5). All will be signing items after the show as part of special meet and greet. In cooperation with 2K Games and Firaxis, there will be a drawing to give away 10 copies of Civilization 5, and a limited number of free Civilization 5 soundtracks will be available for those who attend the meet and greet.
