Joe Fresh Style opens on Granville Street Vancouver BC

There's a new kid on the block and his name is Joe. Unfortunately ladies, its not Joe McIntyre from your 80's-hair-sprayed-high-bang wet dreams. Joe Fresh Style - after namesake Joe Mimran, visionary of Club Monaco and Pink Tartan.

The store opened a few weeks ago to huge fanfare. A four act concert including Marianas Trench, Sweet Thang, Stereo and Divine Brown rocked out for four hours. The weather cooperated with nippy sunshine so everyone was able to enjoy a nice dry concert.A little bit of hysteria from  'trench wenches' and loud music went a long way into getting hundreds in the mood to shop. It's always fantastic to see businesses do something different and opening Granville up for a live concert is a great step into make our city fun!

Joe Fresh Style, opens its first ever flagship store in our very own Vancouver. Nestled between the Waterfront and Granville Skytrain stations, this store is stratetically placed in close proximity to other fashion haunts such as H&M, Pacific Centre, Aritzia and Holt Renfrew.

The reasonable prices you've come to expect at Superstore, still remain in the new store, only now there's more selection and a more retail oriented environment. Stuff you can wear to work, clubbing, around the house... It's all here.

The ground floor features ladieswear - sweaters, office casual, booties and outerwear. The second floor has more outerwear, active wear, intimates and men's clothing. I recently purchased some Bra's from Joe fresh and they are my new go to. Can you hear that? Victoria Secret has been retired in favor of Joe Fresh. Its just more comfortable and when it comes down to it, you gotta go with comfort over a sexy label. The ladies have spoken and they like Joe. Who am I to argue?

Rumor has it that this space will eventually offer children's clothing, which those in the know can tell you is both cute and affordable. Much like everything else Joe.

The hot ticket item of the last few days appears to be the $69 real leather knee boots. A friend of mine tipped me off on them over coffee one day, claiming they were comfortable and looked posh. I was intrigued so I made it my goal to find these sweeties at the new store. Within 15 mins of the soft opening, I arrived, eagerly searching for these boots. Other than a sad abandoned size 10 on five barren shelves, the store was out. OUT. OUT! of these boots. /sadpony.

I did purchase a simple black rain coat for a fantastic price... and have since seen 3 other women wearing the coat on a rainy Vancouver day. Rather than being mortified, we exchanged knowing nods. Good deals unite. We love you Joe.

P/S.
I went back a few days later with a friend, and while she was in the change room, I spotted an abandoned pair of BLACK LEATHER BOOTS... wait for it... IN MY SIZE!! Ladies, they are real and they are spectacular!
