Dancing in the Streets - Granville x Robson ALL SUMMER LONG

SalsaVancouver.net and Jungle Swing Productions present Dancing in the Street: a series of Sunday afternoon dances on the 700 Block of Granville Street between Georgia and Robson.

ALL. SUMMER. LONG.

These dances are part of the Rediscover Granville initiative by the City of Vancouver to encourage the arts and entertainment in the downtown core.

The start date for this great dance series is July 18th with the kickoff Swing event hosted by Jungle Swing. The event will get under way with a quick 30 minute drop-in beginner swing lesson at 1pm. After the lesson, it’s dancing until 4pm in the open air and summer sun with the best swing DJ’s Vancouver has to offer.

On Sunday July 25th, salsa dancers take over Granville St with SalsaVancouver.net hosting the dance, starting with a free 30 minute drop-in beginner salsa lesson at 2pm, and non-stop salsa, bachata, merengue and cha-cha-cha until 6pm.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer, or you want to learn how to dance, or you just enjoy watching dancing and listening to great music, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Dancing in the Street will be running all summer long, with swing dancing on July 18, August 8 & 22, and salsa dancing on July 25, August 15 & 29.

*** Got that? Free beginner lessons in Swing and Salsa followed by social dancing after. Sundays only on Granville x Robson.
