Fishes for Wishes



Downtown Vancouver will be hooked on Christmas Fishes for Wishes!

 

Beginning Dec. 8th a pristine winter wonderland centered around a faux fishing pond complete with 8 foot waterfall becomes the focal point to the beautiful Sinclair Centre atrium which will provide a bountiful catch.

 

A minimum $2 donation offers hunters and shoppers alike the chance to cast off for two minutes into “Lake Sinclair” and a chance to land the biggest, baddest, motorized, big-mouth, bass.

 

At the end of the Fishing Derby, on December 19th, the person with the largest recorded accumulated fish weight wins a *BIG Screen TV! (And of course, bragging rights!)

 

100% of proceeds raised will help Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon grant wishes to children between 3-17 years with a life-threatening illness.
