Chop Shops new Digs.

The Chop Shop will be moving south on the street across from the Best Western Chateau Granville, beside neighbours Le Chateau and The Refinery.

Here's a sneak peak at the space, which will be twice as large as the former location, with a vintage diner-style color bar and pool table.The lovely burlesque beauties you've come to love will still grace the decor.

The new shop is expected to open in mid-december.

The thing about Granville is.. you should expect the unexpected. It's no surprise that the street becomes a natural mustering ground for ghouls and their cohorts the night of Hallow's Eve. Hope you had a safe one.

Canadian Mint to come to Granville for Christmas

The Canadian Mint is making a return in the old Salad Loop location. Rumor says this will be a temporary location just for the Christmas Season so be sure to drop by soon to get your special uncirculated coins here.

Tons of costumes for men and women. I saw a cute bumblebee costume for women, super heroes (yes Batman is there too, and you know that'll be a sure thing with the ladies.)

Medieval costumes for ladies, to fatigues for men. Still a selection upstairs.

Dare to Wear - 1028 Granville

The more daring wenches can go here. More fetish oriented but some cutey ones too. Must be pretty daring as the outfits tend to be a higher quality but considerably less fabric.

Scarlet Shop & Indulgence - 460 Granville

As posted earlier... a limited selection of extremely high quality costumes. Just gorgeous. You'll be the bell of the ball. It's a nice store you could buy your jammies and naughties in without feeling self conscious.

Glinda the Good Witch Costume from the Wizard of Oz/Wicked. Love it. Pricier side at $49.99 but totally worth it when you see it. The material is lovely and it's well cut. You won't look like a drug store tart.
