Next week, for the first time, Aeriosa performers will dance on the Vancouver Block, a designated heritage building near the intersection of Granville andWest Georgia . Built in 1912, this art nouveau high-rise is easily identified by its crowning architecture - a four-sided clock tower illuminated in neon lights at night. On Monday and Tuesday (August 30th and 31st) Julia Taffe will be creating new choreography for six dancers suspended from ropes on the north, west and south walls of the building. On Wednesday September 1st at 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm the company will present three short performances of Serendipity. All are welcome to this free event. Just one more reason to "Rediscover Granville" and stroll down the middle of the street before the buses return to their regular routes and pedestrians are relegated to the sidewalks on September 7th!
