Incognito is 26 years old and running strong. With blues guitarist Rob Montgomery and harmonicist Sherman Doucette leading the group and recruiting Bob Woods from Matt Minglewood's Band and Bob Popowich from 6 cylinder.

Starting to play at the young age of six. In 1997, Peter Sweetzir joined Fosterchild recording 3 albums with them. In 1980 he made the move from Alberta over to Vancouver. His experience had him playing for country music's Aaron Pritchett keyboardist. A man who's love ranges for all music with influences from Ray Charles, Floyd Cramer and Otis Spann. A Trio of Local Blues July 7th @ The Yale 9:45pm

Mike Wedge started playing the guitar at the age of 7 and began playing the bass at 17. Since then he has been able to play with many of Vancouver’s fine hosts and plays at the Flamingo Hotel Lounge in Surrey.



Brandon Isaak comes from the north. White Horse, Yukon down to Vancouver and he brings a boatload of experience with him. A guitarist in Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne’s 2006 Juno Award Winning album and performing with many blues greats.

Jerry Adolphe holds 38-years in the music industry and his current band is “Chilliwack. He has played with Jim Byrnes and Kenny Hess just to name a few! Come on out for this bluesy night.

Super Chikan and The Fighting Cocks

James "Super Chikan" Johnson and The Fighting Cocks step in the doors of The Yale. Starting his music career in his truck he then started to record from the advisory of friends. Traveling and performing all over the world this man brings his own creative and inventive style. September 4th at The Yale.

Steve Kozak jams at Venue 07/08

Flourishing into a Blues fiend fully during May 1977 after hanging out with Muddy waters Kozak has become a mainstay of Vancouver's blues scene since the mid eighties. Playing just about every integral role in music this man flips promotions and played with many blues greats. The style of Steve Kozak reminds John Valentyn from the Blues Society of Willie 'Big Eyes' Smith. Don't miss a night of jazz for only $5 cover!

Roger Chen will dazzle you with his performance and technique in Salsa. Starting July 22nd till August 26th at Harbor Dance Centre you will have the opportunity on Thursdays to learn at the advanced level from this man.
