Alanis Morissette at the Orpheum

ALANIS MORRISETTE
November 4 at 7:30 pm – ORPHEUM

Live Nation presents seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morrisette in support of her critically-acclaimed album Flavors of Entanglement, live in concert with special guests.

Tickets 604-280-3311 Ticketmaster Live Nation

Did you know Alanis Morissette has the BEST sense of humor? Dont' get me wrong, I like Fergie (ok I only tolerate her as a solo artist. It frustrates me that a woman with such an amazing set of pipes raps instead of sings! And there's also that small issue of taking Josh Duhamel off the market!) and the Black Eyed Peas were just the best thing to happen to mainstream music for a good chunk of the early 2000s. They didn't seem to take themselves too seriously, their music was infectious, and best of all, they looked like they were having a great time. A part of me mourns the Black Eye Peas, but we've stil got Alanis.... Check these videos of her flaming the pretentiousness of the BEP vid. Hilarious.

The original

The Alanis-ized version.

Alicia Keys at the Orpheum

Grammy Award winner, Alicia Keys will be performing at the Orpheum Theatre on September 21 and 22. I can't even begin to express what a treat you are in for if you managed to score tickets. A powerful voice, and talented songwriter, Miss Keys has achieved acclaim exceeding even her exceptional beauty. More information at www.vancouver.ca/theatres
